A closer look at this character

Follow the large eye slowly, then trace the grin and smaller features. The big central shape and the tiny details ask for different pencil movements.

What kind of pencil task is this?

This is a monster tracing and coloring activity with a supplied outline. Trace Then Color carries ages 3+ guidance. The lighter character lines are intentional tracing marks in the original artwork, so use a print quality that keeps them visible. The child can trace first and return to coloring later.
